What does Viveka Mohan Das do?

What is AEO/GEO?
Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation — practices concerned with how content is found, understood and cited by AI systems (chat assistants, AI search overviews, retrieval-augmented answers), rather than only by traditional search rankings.
What is the Two-Clock Model?
A working paper separating structural presence S(t) — how machine-readable a site is — from AI perception P(t) — what AI platforms actually know and cite about an entity. Tested on 50 technology entities; not yet peer reviewed. Full paper on the Research page.
What is TCSG (Total Cost per Successful Goal)?
A dual-axis reporting framework for the environmental (ECSG) and human (HCSG) cost of AI-assisted work, both normalised per successfully verified goal rather than per output. Where the Two-Clock Model measures how AI systems represent an entity, TCSG measures what a successful outcome actually costs to produce — both are exercises in systems design: building the measurement infrastructure a claim needs before it can be trusted. Are Viveka's papers peer reviewed?
Not yet. Every working paper is labelled with its current status plainly — preprint, working paper, or not yet peer reviewed. Treat unreviewed work as a working position, not a settled one.
Does Viveka use AI to help produce her work?
Yes, disclosed where it applies. The TCSG pilot data pack states it directly: framework, definitions, study design and conclusions are her own; Claude (Anthropic) was used for editing, formatting and rechecking sources; Codex (OpenAI) acted as an execution assistant building and operating the feasibility pilot, under her instruction and approval. No AI tool generated data, sources or citations.
