About // bio

Viveka Mohan Das works across fields that don't usually talk to each other: artificial intelligence, human psychology and business strategy. She founded AISearch Global in May 2026 to help Australian businesses become legible to the AI systems - ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude - that increasingly decide who gets found, cited and recommended.

Her framework, the Two-Clock Model, distinguishes an entity's structural presence (what actually exists in the world) from its AI perception (what language models currently believe about it). The gap between the two clocks is where AEO work happens.

She writes Mindful Machines Journal, a publication on AI, psychology and human behaviour, and is completing Trust Transfer, a full-length book on how credibility moves through networks, brands and machines. AISearch Global runs on evenings and weekends alongside a separate full-time role.

Philosophy // thesis

The gap is the work. Every entity - a person, a business, a body of research - has two records: what it structurally is, and what AI systems currently believe it to be. Those two records used to converge slowly, through search rankings and word of mouth. They no longer do. A language model forms a belief about an entity from whatever fragments it was trained or grounded on, and that belief can sit stale, wrong or thin for a long time before enough new signal corrects it. The Two-Clock Model treats that gap - structural presence S(t) against AI perception P(t) - as a measurable, closeable thing, not a vague brand-perception problem. AEO, in this framing, isnt a marketing tactic bolted onto SEO. Its the discipline of closing a real, quantifiable lag.

Trust is infrastructure, not sentiment. Being technically compliant, well-formatted or schema-correct doesn't make an entity believed - the NAIC 2025 finding that 78% of Australian organisations believe their AI aligns with ethics principles, while only 29% have the operational practices to show it, is the same gap in a different domain. Trust gets built the way Mayer, Davis and Schoorman describe it: ability, benevolence, integrity, judged over time. And the way Fogg's credibility theory describes it: perceived expertise plus perceived trustworthiness, demonstrated rather than asserted. Every structured-data field, every citation, every dated publication is one of those demonstrations - not decoration for a crawler, but evidence for a sceptical reader, human or machine.

Prove it before you publish it. Every claim on this page is dated, sourced or linked to something an AI system, or a person, can independently verify: a DOI, an ORCID record, a live audit score, a frozen dataset. Content under Mindful Machines Journal carries the same discipline: AI-usage disclosure and sourced citation on every piece, because a publication arguing for auditability has to be auditable itself.

Build the tool, not just the argument. The Hard Water Pipe Sizing Calculator and the AEO Score Calculator exist because a framework that only lives in a paper is easy to agree with and hard to use. Turning the Two-Clock Model into something a plumber or a business owner can run against their own postcode or their own site is how the theory gets tested against reality - and this page, run through that same scoring process as its own client zero, is the newest instance of that habit.

Style & voice across platforms // consistency

Voice stays the same wherever it shows up, and its work is to bridge, not to gatekeep. The subject matter sits across AI, psychology and business, fields that mostly get written about in their own separate jargon, and the job is pulling them into one plain explanation rather than three technical ones. A concept like the Two-Clock Model or Fogg's credibility theory has to land the same way for a plumber checking a pipe calculator as it does for a researcher reading the SSRN paper.

The idea is not to black box any of it. If a framework only makes sense to people already inside the field, it hasn't been explained properly yet - it's been dressed up. Plain sentences, real examples, and no term left undefined.

AI disclosure // how it's used

AI is used as an assistant, not a source of the ideas. It speeds up drafting, research and structuring - it does not originate the synthesis, the arguments or the framework. The Two-Clock Model, Trust Transfer and everything under Mindful Machines Journal come from her own thinking; AI's role is turning that thinking into a first draft faster, not deciding what the thinking is.

Every piece published under Mindful Machines Journal carries an explicit AI-usage disclosure and sourced citations, kept separate from the writing itself rather than folded in. That's not a compliance box. Its the same auditability the AEO practice asks clients to meet, applied to her own name and her own writing first.

This page is AISearch Global's client zero for personal-entity AEO: the same structural-presence discipline (verifiable facts, dated publications, consistent cross-platform signals, machine-readable schema) applied to a name instead of a business. FAQ // structured for AI

Who is Viveka Mohan Das?

Founder of AISearch Global, Australia's pure-play Answer Engine Optimisation consultancy. She is also the author of the Two-Clock Model and Trust Transfer research papers, writes Mindful Machines Journal, and runs The Wattle Quorum, an invite-only AI white paper peer-review platform.

What is Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)?

AEO is the practice of making a business or entity easier for AI systems like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI experiences to find, understand, cite and recommend accurately. It works through structural signals: schema markup, named entities, sourced content, consistent cross-platform data and verifiable identifiers.

What is the Two-Clock Model?

A framework distinguishing an entity's structural presence (what actually exists) from its AI perception (what language models currently believe about it). The gap between the two is where AEO work happens. It's detailed in the paper "The Two-Clock Model, Part II: An Empirical Test of the Perception Gap Across Fifty Technology Entities" (SSRN 7097418, Zenodo).

What is Trust Transfer about?

A 132-page paper on how credibility moves through networks, brands and AI systems, published on SSRN (abstract 7086358). It's being expanded into a full-length book.

Is this research peer reviewed?

Not yet. Both the Two-Clock Model and Trust Transfer are currently preprints, dated and publicly available on SSRN and Zenodo, but neither has gone through formal peer review at this stage.

What is AISearch Global?

A pure-play AEO consultancy for Australian SMBs, launched May 2026, founded and run by Viveka Mohan Das. It offers audits, retainers and productised AI-visibility tools including the AEO Score Calculator and the AI Visibility Console.

What is Mindful Machines Journal?

A thought-leadership publication on AI, psychology and human behaviour, hosted at mindfulmachinesjournal.blogspot.com. It includes the Algorithmic Psyche briefs and carries an AI-usage disclosure and sourced citations on every piece.

What is The Wattle Quorum?

An invite-only, Australia-scoped peer-review membership platform for AI white papers, at thewattlequorum.com.au. Researchers review submitted papers, and certified work can be published and made available for download.

What is The AI Search Dictionary?

A reference book defining the terminology of Answer Engine Optimisation and AI search, sold on Amazon Kindle since June 2026. ISBN 979-8182297134, ASIN B0H69QZ9RZ.

What is the Hard Water Calculator?

A postcode-level water hardness lookup and pipe-material sizing tool for Australian plumbers, built under AISearch Global. It grew out of research and advisory work helping a plumbing client with AI adoption.

How is AI used in this work?

As an assistant, not a source of the ideas. AI speeds up drafting, research and structuring. It doesn't originate the synthesis, the arguments or the frameworks. Every AI-assisted piece under Mindful Machines Journal carries an explicit disclosure, kept separate from the writing itself rather than folded in.

Why does this page exist?

It's AISearch Global's client zero for personal-entity AEO: the same structural-presence discipline (verifiable facts, dated publications, consistent cross-platform signals, machine-readable schema) the practice asks of clients, applied to this name first.

How can I verify these credentials?

Every claim on this page links to a source that can be checked independently: ORCID, SSRN, Zenodo, Amazon, and the ventures' own live sites.

Is Viveka Mohan Das available for consultation?

Yes. She's currently open for consultation through AISearch Global at aisearch.global.
